Twin Supercharged GTO

I have been asked to go to the Ocean City Maryland car cruise a couple of times but the people that ask me are just going there to drink. So I have always turned it down. However it may be my loss as I didn’t get to see this Twin Supercharged GTO cruising the show?

It has an 8/71 Supercharger feeding a 6/71 Supercharger and functionally I must say. Not to sure how efficient it turned out to be as a lot of people make posts claiming it is a 1200 or 1600 engine now. Quite doubtful on those numbers but still cool as all hell to cruise around an event with anyway you want to look at it.

On a different note I read that he removed the second Supercharger and has returned it to a somewhat normal setup. As you would be able to guess this was done for show at the cruises and such. I mean this thing did get millions of views in one of the different Youtube videos. That and at least he was able to drive it around unlike the older cars that did this in the early 80’s and the 70’s.

They were just static show cars that sat in auditoriums and if they were lucky got the polished blowers waxed and polished. They never ran or did anything like this car at least did. The Horsepower claim is a bit of a joke however so it is what it is.

Matter if fact I’m not sure if he has sold this car completely by now either? I did read someone else’s post either on Youtube of a blog that he was building something else and may even have sold this car now 😕 It is a nice body and Pro Streeting job that he did on the car so you would hope he kept it 🙂
