5.0 Mustang Burnout

Yet another 5.0 Mustang Burnout right 🙄 Well not exactly as this Mustang does a burnout to last all Burnouts that makes you wonder how the tire didn’t blow?!

Remember when ever corner you turned around there was a 5.0 Mustang driving at you? These things were dime a dozen back in the late 80’s into the 90’s but, now they are getting into Antique shows! Anyway this is one that I was shocked he was not able to blow a tire up cause he sits with the hammer down for a long long long ass time trying to win the burnout contest!

This show in Boonton New Jersey is the pre Lead East show basically. Mostly T-Buckets and Customs show up at this show. Rat Rods and the likes of that with a few famous cars from the Munsters and stuff like that. Cool stuff to go look at but, it kind of gets a bit boring if your not really into that scene.

However a lot of these car that show up do have some serious engines under the hood. We are not talking just a cam and headers either. Some of these cars have engines over 500 or 600 cubic inches or are supercharged 😯
Not to mention some are kind of considered to be late models at least by me like this Mustang 5.0. Regardless of fitting into a year specific deal or not when the Burnout Pad was opened everyone came out to witness tire shredding action 🙂

Quite a few cars couldn’t spin tires to really save their lives. Then the supercharged ones and big block stroker ones definitely could until this Mustang finally came over to the burnout pad. He then proved that not only could he burn the tires for an extremely long time without blowing them up but, was able to do so without blowing up his engine or over heating the engine while abusing the tires to win!
