Ported Flathead found in cleanup!
Old Ford Racing Engine
Seems this Ported Flathead found in cleanup was from a used car dealership that was called to buy 3 Triumph TR3’s from a deceased persons estate.
Upon doing so they had to clean up more than just these Triumph with low miles and one Driver Triumph. Some of the things found was an old Racing Flathead Block and Aluminum Flywheel 😯
Seems that who ever lived at this house was a bit of a hoarder to some extent. Along with having 3 low mileage Triumphs with various parts for the cars. He had parts from D4 Caterpillar Dozer with 1945 written on the receipt attached to it! Then a big old Crankshaft and a 5 Horsepower Brigs and Stratton engine with a Plexiglass side so you could see it had no oil in it cause it was a Slick50 add 🙂
Then a Clinton 2 stroke Panther Go Cart engine was sitting there with a Tillitson carb and it’s original stock one. Then an Airplane engine along with Propellers and suspension.
The Airplane engine and parts like the Propeller I would have liked to get some pictures and videos of the most. The car guys didn’t even check to see what kind of engine it was either!
I think they said it was a 4 cylinder but, anyway you want to look at it I would love to know anything about what could possibly be a new Aircraft Engine that has been sitting in a barn for who knows how many years?
I mean Triumphs, Racing Go Karts, Aircraft and then miscellaneous Briggs& & Stratton engines and all sorts of things that this hoarder has accumulated over the years. Then the family just sells it off, what a shame 🙁
He seemed to have a taste for just about anything 😕
