Worlds Fastest 2V MOD Fairmont

This street driven Fairmont nick named the FEARMONT using a 2 valve Modular Engine ran as quick as a 8.006 at MIR at 19th Annual Haltech Import vs. Domestic World Cup Finals 😯

Not knowing all that much about the 2V SOHC engine internals, one thing is for sure is that the 80mm Billet ETR-HO V2 wheel S400 Turbo is what is helping it get the Horse Power. Then it is backed up by what has to be the most universal transmission, yes a Powerglide.
The rear suspension is mostly stock using an 8.8 Ford Rear. This is fairly impressive that this rear using a stock style suspension is able to hold up to 8.0 ET’s with 169MPH trap speeds 😯 I just love how people bother to put a 9 inch into race cars which almost guarantees you to loose at least a 10th in your pass.
Now after seeing this it makes me sad that I scrapped my 1980 Ford Fairmont that I had given to me. Thing only had 20k on the clock as it was my grandfathers car that he never drove out of his home town. It was a 4 cylinder 4 speed stick car with a Posi rear in it for some reason 😕 It was Beige with a Brown side panel factory paint scheme. Complete urban camouflage so no police would really pick it out of the crowd as a Hot Rod. Engine started to over heat so I scrapped it not thinking it would ever be a car worth anything 🙁
