Tubbed Big Block Pro Street 70′ Camaro

I remember when he got this Camaro with a big NOS kit on it years ago. Went through a few engines and then had it back halved.

Yeah so like I said, cause this was quite a while ago that he bought this car off of someone that had t all set up with a Big Nitrous kit to race 🙂

However the dude that bought it was too afraid to use the Nitrous kit. He even had people run the valves for him as he was that nonmechanical 🙄 So I kept my eyes on it for years just to see what or if he was ever able to do anything of note with it. Then one day he decided to have the car back halved. Yeah, Tubbed with some big ass Slicks on it.
So the car started to look pretty killer as an almost Pro Street car 🙂 Then he went a step farther and had a stroker Big Block built and put that into the Camaro. Again it didn’t really pull any impressive times at the track so it was basically just looked at as a fairly nice Pro Street Camaro.

He even offered me the original Big Block out of it for $1500 or so which I was gonna jump at for the super solid 1969 307 powered Camaro I had sitting at home. Figured it would have made that a sick car to not only beat on the streets with but make it worth a lot more when I sell it on EBAY.
Never happened as this flaming A Hole named Larry offered him $1600 for the engine and he sold it to him. I won out however as when he took it to the shop it turned out to have two cylinders sleeved, and the engine builder didn’t want to touch it. That and I was able to get over 10 thousand dollars for the Camaro with a lame 307 in it anyway.

Eventually, this Camaro was sold off too as he was afraid to ever really push it very hard down the Quarter Mile. I was at Englistown Raceway Park one night when the new owner brought the car down to race it. He used the Nitrous and blew the engine up 😯 Unfortunately I didn’t get that on video 🙁
