You can hear the boost out of this MIATA @ PINKS Englishtown NJ 2008 show! However never got to see it in the pits to ask what kind of system he was using 😕
I was never a fan of the Miata and even if you were to give me one I do not think I would except it as these cars just do nothing for me. Kind of like the same thing as a MG Midget or any of the small British cars. Not like I am that all or anything, I just hate having to climb into a car like that 🙁 Mazda Miata Turbo
At this point I have a C4 Corvette and all I can remember is what I nightmare they are to get in an out of. Sure the Miata is nothing like a C4 Vette but, it is just like a MG or Bug Eye Sprite to me. To small a car to withstand getting hit by a full sized sedan to me too.
However I must say an acquaintance bought a Miata and put a LS2 into it for Power. He built it for Road Racing at the New Jersey Motor Sports Park but, brought it to Englishtown for the Import Nationals I do believe. On one good run he went into the 10’s with a car built for Road Racing 😯

He built it on a budget to boot with a junk yard pull out LS2 with a standard transmission. He then used a Ford Mustang independent rear suspension to be able to take the power instead of putting a straight axle (remember it was a road race car) in it. He did wind up breaking a stub shaft I do believe when he was drag racing it though. So much for using that rear setup to strengthen it 🙄
Located in Central NJ I wind up at lots of Car Events. Be it at Englishtown, Island or Atco Dragstrips or Somerville Main Street on Friday nights. If it involves High Performance cars I am most likely at the event!
