Gasser Falcon

Clone or just a fun cruiser ๐Ÿ™‚

This was one of the more interesting Gasser Falcon to show up at the Fuddruckers car show in a while. It was purchased as someone restoration project and then changed up quite a bit.

Now sporting a straight axle front suspension and an SBC with a tunnel ram you are not going to be seeing these daily. So to the Ford purist, a Chevrolet Heart in this Falcon seems to piss some people off…

Well the Falcon was for sale when I talked to the owner at one of the now-defunct events. It was for sale back then and if I remember correctly the asking price was $10,000 dollars. While that price was possibly acceptable to some people that do not have any mechanical abilities to build something like this, it is not to me. While I liked the car I would much more like to build my own and either put a SBC in it like this or possibly a MOD 4.6 or some other odd engine that just wouldn’t fit the straight axle look…

Update on this Gasser Falcon and where it was captured on this post. #1 is the Tuesday car cruise meet that went down at the Fuddruckers on Rt22 in Bridgewater New Jersey is no more. Why you may ask? Well, the Fuddruckers went Belly Up for the most part ๐Ÿ™ It was a pretty good place and then it made a turn for the worse as they changed from Boylan’s Root Beer to Puck or something like that?

Not good along with them dropping some of the favorite foods off the menu too. It was then changed into a new Bar/Restaurant that lasted about a year before going belly up.

After that, a Tex-Mex place took its location and that only lasted less than a year too it would seem? Guess the place it cursed or something…
