So this 1927 REO found out in the elements of Australia for an unknown amount of time 😕 By the looks of it I would say 50 years would be on the short side.
When they started to get into stripping this old truck the inside of the transmission looked rather good considering. Sure it’s got straight cut gears but heck, how fast do you think this things cruising speed could have been? 25 or 35mph max possibly. Also interesting is how the air compressor is driven. Have to wonder what the air compressor is even for on a truck this old anyway 😕
