Yeah you heard it right, it looks like one of the original Volkswagen Beetles from WWII has been found doing plebeian farm duty work when it should be in a Museum somewhere instead 😕

OK seriously the Small Block Chevy wasn’t yet invented so we know this could not be original from WWII but if it was an artifact from the Great War it would be fitting. You could just see Tracked Volkswagens slowly coming across farm fields towards towns. The old War footage would really have put a dent into the Hippies driving across the US in Peace Trains following the Greatful Dead don’t ya think? 😛
