Patina or just a Rusty VW Bus?

So a family member had a Single Cab Volkswagen Bus similar to this but nowhere near the rust this one is showing.

Matter of fact the Volkswagen Single Cab my brother had was pretty nicer in comparison and not slammed or anything like that. Then he had a Volkswagen Barn Door Commercial Split window Bus with a 36 Horsepower engine but he got rid of that too 🙄

Anyway you want to look at it I don’t know if you can call this Patina with that much rust? Kind of more amazing that it is holding together and able to be driven at the point that it is at 😕 However it got someone to stop and take a video of it, so they must be doing something Epic right.
