9 second CTS-V Coupe

Luxury Coupe capable of 9’s on the stock bottom end to boot :O

Low Profile
Record Run

Cadillac now means more than it used to with this CTS-V Coupe still having a leather interior and looking so stock. Yet having close to 1000 Horse Power no wonder it is capable or those ET’s ๐Ÿ˜›

This just keep getting better when you delve into the facts that this car has to do what it does.

First you have to look at a car still sporting it’s Leather interior making it’s street duty that much more enjoyable. Of course why wouldn’t you leave the factory leather in as it gets lots of street use and you would want to still be comfortable driving around town in it wouldn’t you ๐Ÿ˜•

After all the car was designed to go after the Higher End European market class. So you need the luxury and leather plus the 4 wheel independent suspension so the car can maintain a comfortable smooth ride yet still handle like it is on rails!

You then have to take into account that this car still weighs 4000 pounds. So wow it weighs 2 Tons and has an independent rear suspension yet is running into the mid 9’s in the quarter with low profile rear tires yet ๐Ÿ˜•

Well that is not even the most amazing thing about this car. It is doing all this on a stock LSA bottom end yet too :O OK it does have a set of aftermarket Trick Flow heads along with a ported factory supercharger.

Stock IRS
Record Run

Yes it does use Racing Fuel and a 130HP shot of Nitrous Oxide to make it’s way into to a 9.59 second elapsed time. However you would need to do this to keep the stock cast pistons from experiencing even the slightest bit of detonation at these power levels will shatter a cast piston.

At this point the car has the record for a stock internal CTS-V car so with the independent rear suspension that is even more amazing ๐Ÿ™‚

i swear that the front tires were off the ground fer a second ,they wernt turning so they must of been off the ground ,that is kool city,a caddy that pulls the wheels ,wut a hoot!

    • Yeah for a sec it looks like it lifted the tire but the cool thing is that it is getting that kind of traction with a lower profile tire and an independent rear suspension!
